Spinners

Anybody ever use these? Can't remember what they are, there is no name on them but we used to kill the silvers on these in the 80's. Found a few of them still in my box.

You'll have to forgive Kodiak, he's running on Mill City time. They don't consider you old out there until you either can't cut wood anymore, or you get hit three times or more by a car for taking too long in a cross walk.

Actually, I grew up in Portland. I lived in Dallas for about 4 years in my twenties. It didn't have time to taint me. You weren't supposed to mention the rubber hose part. Now momma's gonna really whoop me. Let's get some fishin done.

Not sure if they even still make them but they were definitely proven fish killers back then.

****ing dam was closed. Sat in the rain all evening. But still fun no luck but talked to other fishers and know of 2 jacks being caught. And seen some roll so they are there. Here's the inside scoop... "The wild coho fishery at Tahkenitch and Siltcoos has not yet started to produce. Anglers and the fish are waiting for an artificial freshet that comes when water is released from upstream impoundments." I have reasons to believe otherwise.

Hmmm...So they dropped the level a bit then closed the dam back up? You would think the fish would be in there by now but maybe the bulk of the run is a little later? I'll be there Sunday regardless. I need a relief from school studies or my head may explode, what better way to do that then fish!

From what I understand sunday will be a good day.

Lol the fish have been in there for about 3 weeks....there's a fish ladder...and...fish go up the fish ladder. The bulk of the run occurs the first 3 weeks of November, but they start coming in the middle of October. Sunday should be good, but it will be getting better.

I have a feelinging sunday will be productive and the dam will be open.

Went to the new Dick's sporting goods today and picked up some wigglers for $3.83 each. Bring on the silvers. Looks like I will be there Sunday too!
