An awful lot of these internet report chasers would be better suited learning water levels on at the very least "their local water" and growing some thicker skin wouldn't hurt

Yes!!! And to RWS, you are 100% right!! I always gotta double read his posts here and there, Took all his advice into consideration last year and it worked great!!! Same with Plump2Fish and all the other Salem area folks!! Bigsteel and what not... all of them!

How is this for showing off then with plump to fish and another buddy.:D

Uhh bro? I think you caught all of the fish in that(or) more systems!! Way to get at it during tuff conditions!! Big smelly baits/presontations is the key to success in "off-colored" water!!

Oh no never catch them all and we release all our fish except for very few hatchery that we keep between us or hand off to others while fishing. And those pics are just a few out of 19 trips now for winters this year. I am at 65 for 103 and all driftfishing from the bank and I know some of my buddies fishing with me are over 50 fish hooked also. We fish brown to green water and high or low just to get out and see what happens.Yes I have had 3 skunk trips this year so far but still learned on those trips as should any other fisher person due. Pay attention to whats going on and watch for fish to show you where they are holding or moving.I dont watch my line or my pole when fishing I am constantly looking up river down river across to see if I can catch a fish break surface and catch there path they are moving that day.

It has been a Damn good steelhead run this winter!!! I bet fish counts are up for all streams up and down the coast!

I love drift fishing as well....it's how I learned....when you driftfish correctly the bites can be unreal! Bobber fishing drives me crazy!!! I'd rather look at scenery than a float! :D

It looks like some of the north coast rivers are close...Maybe tomorrow, the weekend for sure...I wonder what the snow runoff will do to the bite?..Its gotta be cold... I do want one more good trip this winter...

Hmmmmmmm???

Good luck and be sure to post a report...Remember,I like PICTURES...

I will do my regular float..1st bridge to Three Rivers...If I go...

i am willing to bet the middle river will be perfect, with the snow melt it will be very cold and possibly clear up high, way down low might be a wee bit off color and on the high side.
