Steelhead stalkers and capblack great posts. The way I see it is that if no one asks me where i catch than no one cares. (yes bragging rights) Those interested in finding spots to catch ask. About 90% of those individules will ask, and if you pay attention you will find that they get the answers they were looking for the other 10% wait until someone answers another post. Everyone wins. Ask and you shall recieve. Keep the great fish porn coming folks!!!

well know larger systems or systems with hatchery runs= i dont care ill tell if someone asks or will post where i was,no point in being a stuck up ******* if its a well known river.


smaller streams that are only natives= my mouth stays shut even if someone offers me money

I think people on OFF share a lot of information, but at the same don't exploit places that can't handle the added pressure.

I fish a lot of small systems that can't handle pressure, but if I catch a beautiful fish, I'm going to share a picture of it. It's not my job to hold someone's hand and get them a magical instant results fish. Part of fishing is doing the footwork and figuring things out on your own, that's how I was raised and that's how i've learned. If people PM me for info, I generally am forthcoming, but I won't post it in a thread for everyone and their mother's eyes to see.

To be honest I don't think anybody is learning anything from your posts or many other posts on forums! You say what you used and what river you are on but if I just got into steelhead fishing yesterday that info would mean absolutely nothing to me. Heck, this post does not help me either and I fish for steelhead a lot. I don't care where you are anyone else on the forum are fishing and it really should not matter. I just think its cool to see reports and people getting into fish! If I want info on where you are fishing I will PM you. You could tell a beginner steelheader exactly what spot you were in and what rod, lure, weight, line and body wash you use and it would not help them catch a fish! :lol: These forums are for entertainment and every post with pictures is to brag. What are fisherman other than big braggers anyway. Same reason why we all feel so good carrying a limit back to the car. There are places where people can go to actually learn how to fish better with all the info they would ever need and fishing forums for the most part are not those sites. It kind of seems like your posts are kind of repetitive to me. Same fish, same river, upside down fish and black sharpie glasses. I already know what the post is going to say before I read it. So others probably are not really learning anything helpful either. Like in this thread you say that lots of people are fishing and not many are catching but you so that does not help me know that the cowlitz is fishing well, only that you are fishing well!
