the Kalama is pretty awesome river.
just started fishing it this summer, caught my first 2 steelheads and Chinook out of this mighty river.

do you stay down near the Fly only sections or head up into the canyon.
we have had good luck in the canyon.

heading up there this evening. either that or the Sandy.
At least the Kalama isn't too crowded

Going to the Kalama this morning. Will post/be on this afternoon/eve. Can do it then or tomorrow, maybe on some water?

Yeah, no problem. Anytime/anywhere is good for me.

Well that didn`t take long. I`ll start calling in order of reply.

Ya, the not crowded part keeps me up in the canyon as well. Lost a little silver bullet and landed a fally that I let go, big old buck. Fun on an 8wt. anyhow.:D

Go Figure

Go Figure

Tried EGGS but got NADA. Went to spinners - NADA. Tried little pink flatfish and BANG fish on. Got my first COHO today but it had an extra fin. I let it go unharmed. FUN FUN

Sweet, were you plunking it?

Drifting with slinky. Somone showed me this on Wilson last year. 4th cast or so fish-on. Then I had to go to work. (working - and thinking about fishing now :-)
