Tides affect there travel a lot... As soon as tide changes then boom the fish start moving or rolling

Well ill definitely note that thought it did but u confirmed it does it matter if its low to high tide or high to low tide?

Ive had the most luck from low to high right on the switch...

I've heard that one hour before and two hours after the high slack or low slack tide is good. I've also heard that only the low slack and incoming tide is good.

Does anyone feel one is better than the other?

Depends where you're fishing.

Fish move more at the high. Moving fish are generally easier to catch. But sometimes in tidewater, depends on the place, the fish keg up in the deep holes, and get rowdy from the overcrowding (hi, Hospital Hole).

I've caught fish during both... and in between, for that matter.

How do you find those deep holes without a boat and depth/fish finder?

You can scout from the bank on one of those ultra-low tides... anywhere there is still water is a hole!

smallstreams i see where from the same area having any luck locally?

I'm fishing down at the coast (we have a house there).

That must be nice dangit
