First OFF, Thank You Jamisonace!!

Jamisonace and I met up at the Wilson today after he was kind enough to invite me out on his boat for a day. He was in town for Thanksgiving and we teamed up for some Chinook.
Met at the guide shop area on the Wilson at 7:00 and it was...BROWN. So, we headed elsewhere.
Hit "the other" river at about 7:45 and had our first fish on by 7:48!!
Thats the kind of day it was. Bang-a-rang!
We went 3 for 6 including a Pair of FAT nooks!

Seriously one of those days you'll never forget- Thanks Man-

Jamisonace is a good guy. Glad to see you guys had an awesome day.

Awesome nooks!!!! Great Job!!!

It was a great day on the water. High fives all day long. I'm still looking forward to that wilson trip with you Jeff. thanks for the great post here and for the great company on the river. All our luck must have been from you 'cuz we hit it again today and only caught chum.

Looks like a good time.. but 3-6.. come on guys... put your game face on! Time to play ball!

Pretty epic day!

It's so awesome up in tbay because there are 5 rivers to choose from, plus the Nehalem and Nestucca. The little one you hit clears up quick.

Yeah, no kidding!

50% is a failing grade.

Yea me too!

They enjoyed the experience but it rained buckets. I pulled the plug on the boat before we hit the road and it drained for almost 5 minutes. We were soaked but we had fun.

Wow! I sure missed out on that trip... Glad you guys got into fish! Hit "That" river today and nailed our first winter in my buddys new drift boat. Slammed a K15!!! Jealous of the nooks. We had one that was most likely a Nook but didn't stick.. Again, nice job... We all gotta get out sometime in the near future when the Wilson clears.

Yeah, we wished you had been there. Lets keep in touch. I still want to hit the Wilson.

Will do, again congrats. I know you had been planning that trip over for a lil while so im stoked you got into fish. My last chance to fish for falls will be Dec7th-10th before i have back surgery and will be out for a little while. Keep that in mind and if ya got time off you, Jeff and I will have to do some damage on the Wilson. Take care in the meantime.

Not many rivers on the N. Oregon coast that turn that aquamarine color. The Elk was pretty close to that same color on Friday. Too bad I fished the Sixes.....it wasn't that color...lol.
Great job on the nookers. A few years ago I caught a winter steelhead in the county park on that river that was just a hair over 41". I thought it was a winter chinook until I got it to the bank....
