We did see some big carp...quite a few actually. the biggest we landed was 21 lbs. we got lots of high teens fish, including this nice 19 lber:



Van ALMOST had a mid 20s fish...it was close, we just couldn't get the eat. We also saw one truly monstrous carp that was easily over 30 lbs. Never even got a fly on that one though. Lots of big fish around that day.

Hey, I was checking out Orvis' facebook page and noticed that your sturgeon on a fly was in the orvis news, with pics and all!!! Very cool!!!! :clap:

Yeah...that fish is awesome. The guys at orvis just used my blog post...what a fish. David is submitting it for slab of the month too.
