Good to have you

Good to have you

I have fished the Alsea for years and that spot your were fishing at seems to be in the dead zone. Very few fish hold there even in good years. Lots of fish hold both above and below that section, but for some reason not in that beautiful hole.

I have seen a few caught when they are on the move in heavy numbers.

Welcome aboard! Looks like you are going to fit right in with the rest of info contributors. That makes you an outstanding member,in my opinion. Thanks for the information. Stand by,there will be more questions for you,I'm sure. Again, welcome to the family.

Nice I think I seen you maybe not... I started out the morning at the deep slot at the next hole down from the Five Rivers mouth. A kid caught a real dark one next to me. Were you fishing below those two guys?

The Alsea starts (northfork) just North of the town of Alsea, along highway 34 about 30 miles southwest of Corvallis. The river pretty much follows hwy 34 to the coast. Beautiful river. Good access. Lots of fish and fishermen. Anatoliy is becoming quite knowledgeable about where to fish on the Alsea.
