There is just something about a Hula Girl on a Spoon.... I mean how can it miss. I do carry a full arsenal of Spoons when I venture out in search of the might Trout.
Once you master the technique of fishing a Spoon the Force will be with you .
Over the years I have made my own Spoons from anything I could get my hands on, and was some what malleable. I have started testing the Cabelas brand Spoons of all shapes and sizes, and when they are on sale you can pick them up for $1.19 when ordering on line. I mean like Troutdude said "I buy the "old school" Eppinger brand originals whenever I find them", most everything out there is a Copy so if you can save over two dollars apiece, doesn't hurt so much when you loose one, two or - you get me.... Kastmasters are also extremely effective for Steel and Rainbow's, the guy that taught me the proper way to fish a spoon said "once you learn it you will never forget it".
Anyone else out there ever make their own Spoons:think: ?
