Fishing was tough for us this weekend, but we managed to put a couple in the boat anyway. Lost one other near the boat prior to net shot and had one drive-by. The Umpqua should pick up steadily from here on out.

Very nice.

good report

Good to hear, were you using green label or blues?

I usually use blue, but hear that greens have been better as of late.

We have been using blues, but I have had a lot of success on greens early in the season in the past.

Ha ha your post made me laugh jeanna. Those are some beauties Mike! Way to slay on a slow day. I'm jealous! Ha ha

haha it had been a while since I busted out the burns. I read this and my mind starts plotting my evil 'nook killing agenda, so ya know. lol

No salmon fishing for me this weekend, Tuna and Halibut look to be doable on Saturday.....I'm stoked....

Nice nooks looks like the weather was great too. Good luck on the Tuna and Halibut. The ocean is look good for us up here too but we are sticking with the salmon. Although I sure do like those halibut ummm. Have a safe trip.
