Hey rogerdodger, this time of year what part of the Siuslaw do you like to try? I've always waited until they are up higher, do you fish down lower, say Cushman or Port of Siuslaw? Thanks for your info. :)

I'm still new to fishing the river above tidewater but once the water level drops to about 8', my understanding is to fish from Farnam Landing up to Tide and then over the next few weeks on up to Lake Creek, then by January there should be fish heading for Whitaker.... Nobody fishing the lower river now, the steelhead show is all up river...

Lake Creek has some real pretty fly water when the chocolate milk turns green I am going C&R fishing!:thumb:
