Ok i get it . Any ways. hi everyone, my name is James and i'm new to this site. Iv'e been reading about this poke poling for a while and i really want to give it a try. Hmmmm, i bet this would work wonders under the water down at the bottom. Sometimes my light goes dead or my sling pole won't go in some of those holes. Anyone want to go the jetty soon and do some poke pole fishing anytime soon. above water that its. Just let me know and i can give my contact info. i love greenlings and i have had good luck getting them with rod and reel lately. I use sand shrimp or the little pink shrimp you get from the deli too. anyone want to go with me let me know. ty James

Oh wow I can't believe I missed this thread! This would be so much fun! Could be dangerous but dang that looks cool. I might just go get some bamboo myself.

This was the first thread I read on this forum. I never did end up doing it.
