Personal best winter steelhead

Just wanted to share my personal best winter steely estimated around 18 lbs.....he fell for a spinner......love the Steel
and also was able to get my first steely on yarn, around nine pounds thanks to Mike D...as a spinner guy, I would normaly laugh at yarn, now im going to perfect it! sorry no picture of the yarn caught fish, while trying to tail him for a quick pic i dropped him back the water, he was still full of fight mike will voudge for me lol

No problem Chris had a great time and glad you had fun too and got the big fish of the day...Good job man and here is the pics of the two I landed and yes Chris did land another buck before this one drifting yarn and makes me feel good that I was able to do that for him.You do know Chris my goal is to convert you to drifting now on and use spinners as a back up.lol

Nwkiller, what kind of spinners do use use for steel? my dad is looking into buying some spinners for steelhead.

Well for spinners i use steelhead by bud and blue foxes. I also really like meps and steelies. Thomas boyant spoons work great as well especially for summers
