How far is Meldrum Bar from Aloha/Beaverton?

At Oregon City . Head up(north)99 past Fishermans , cross the Clack , take a left at the first light , go about a 1/4 mile or so , look for a sign to Meldrum Bar .(Brown sign on your right , you will turn left) . Follow road to boat ramp .

That is a bright one ! A real beauty ! Plunking is effective , just never done it . I prefer to get in the water myself .

Yea, I still prefer actually hiking up and down the river as I fish and trying to avoid the crouds. But Meldrum and places like it could make for a fun mix of fishing and tailgating. It's also a good place to go when you only have a few hours to fish, at least if you live close by.

I'm maybe 15-20 minutes from there and have fished many many times but have never seen anything caught from the bank. Maybe tomorrow I'll hit up fishermans and see if they can help me out with a plunking setup. I'd love to fish THAT close to home!!
