My earliest winter yet

Nice fish Chez.

Congrats, on the crome. I hit the lower clack saturday morning an to my suprise a f&$*@# fur bag above the 99 bridge. Good to see I'm not the only one out chasing the early winters.

Nice fish chez. Way to nab one out of the haystack. I'm itching for a winter, my fav time of the year

Nice job!!! But not a winter.

That's a rebright summer fish on it's way back down. You can even see the coloration still changing.

Good fish though!

Rebrites don"t get clear finned until the salt.. And their scales dont rub off.

Exactly, plus the fins are still a little beat up from spawning.

I'm going with chez, HHM, and Shawn and I just learned something thanks guys

actually, he should claim it as a rebrite native summer steelhead... that would have to be basicly the rarest catch in the clack-

OK! I'll bend on this one.

No, don't give in. The strategy is to get everyone excited and out there too early so when they give up after a couple of weeks and the real season begins, they're at home watchin' the game while you and me (and a coupla other smarties) are taggin' & baggin'. (Shhh)

I'll add that's it would be awfully early for a downrunner.
