Kayak fishing the Oregon Rockfish Classic 6-16

Do they make those kayaks in xxxl for 6'5 300lb guys?
The sure do. There are a couple of boats that have max weight capacities that would work. To name a few, the Hobie Outback (450 lb), Hobie Pro Angler (500lb) (12 and 14 foot) and the Ocean Kayak Prowler (450lb). You might want to double check those numbers, but I'm pretty sure they're right.

About how much does something like that cost, ballpark?

A paddle kayak, capable of going in the ocean, will run you about 800-1200 new but sometimes you can find them in the 400-600 range used. The Hobies, peddle kayaks, are about 1800 new but you can sometimes find used ones in the 1200-1500 range.

EPIC post!!!! That looks like so much fun. We may have to finally hook up!!

Thanks man. Let me know if you ever want to give it a shot. My inlaws are in Corvallis and I head for Depoe from there every so often.
