How the hell?

Looks like Hawk was right on.

While doing the forum rounds I saw a post today that had some pix. If you can stand this site (LOL) check it out.

Eamon, there was a man I used to talk to on www.rv.net who had his boat rigged up like that. He & his wife are fulltime snowbirds who live in their 37' bumper pull trailer. The truck pulls It. He has a motor & cable, also shock absorber like pistons, in his truck bed attached to the track rack/ramp below his boat. He backs up into the water, then tilts the track ramp while extending it & lowering his boat. sliding down into the water while he is releasing cable. Anyway, something like that......:D:D:D

"Where there is the Will, there is a Way"......:D:peace:☮:yikes:

He was catching big crappie at Alamo Lake & catfish & Striped Bass in the Colorado River & Lake Havasu.

:yikes: I'm willing to bet he knows where all the gas stations are located in the NW, since he has to stop every 75 miles to fill up again...and again...and again.

That image from Eugene is getting closer, but the boat was without trailer, horizontal and was situated with somewhat more than half of the craft over the cab. At least we know the reasoning behind all of this.

Actually, if you go to the forum for openrangeowners.com and flip through the photos you'll find two pictures, not together, that show a bass boat being towed above the truck cab (#1) and an extended ramp for offloading into the water (#2). You've got to be serious about your toys with a set up like that.
