with my Brother-in-law visiting from Seattle for a long weekend of fishing, we hit the Slaw at 9am and went 2-3 with several more 'take-downs', we each boated a nice Coho, an 8# hen and 11# buck, dunes below the bridge finally paid off.

the bite was really soft, slow trolling with fishing poles in hand was the key to hooking them...cheers, roger

Good jpb getting the silvers...We had them jumping all atound us yesterday, but only caught nooks...Might be going back tomorrow...I will keep your silver technique in mind..

Nice fishes...

Awesome, roger!

You deserve it and it is always great to get the family into salmon. Looks like those coho are ocean fresh as they shed their scales. So, the coho have finally decided to come home into their river.

I'm gonna give it a shot tomorrow, but maybe higher up than you guys?

thanks, both fish had a few lice on them and dark orange flesh, super fresh...

we watched an acrobatic silver caught Thursday just up from the RR Bridge, so they are there fore sure. we went all the way to Tiernan launch that day and I did see the big blobs/things on the sonar, not sure what they are, probably a mass of plant material gunk...

if the big group of coho that we found below the bridge Saturday have moved up river then Cushman might be real good today...and crowded...most of the boats seemed to be upriver yesterday...

we were slow trolling smaller (green) herring whole and the bite was really soft, almost like they were bumping them and even swimming with them in their mouth at times, sort of a 'slack line bite'...we also ran some cut larger (blue) herring but no action on them yesterday....good luck...

Nice job Roger. Glad you got into them. I love that hole when the fish are there.

Nice fishies! caught a couple today myself. I need a boat! Ha ha. way to get after em! Think I'm going to finally start hitting the slaw soon...
