Fishing is slow!
Fishing is slow!
Just got back last night from a few days of fishing including 2 days at Diamond. Got there on monday, and struck out. Not a single bite. Everyone we talked to said fishing had been SLOW the last 2 days. Couple of guys said they brought in a fish or two, but we did not see a single fish caught. Fishing somewhat picked up yesterday (Tuesday), but was streaky and pretty specific. Guys were catching some on the very southwest end on flies, but other than that it was slow. Not sure what flies they were using, seemed like the same people were catching all the fish, but we could not figure it out. There was a pretty solid hatch on tuesday. Hopefully it picks back up soon!

I have returned
I just got back tuesday and I had moderate luck , the weather was crap rained most of the time and it was cold , I slept in my car, lol but I did catch a FAT 20 incher it had some major shoulders on it. Here are some pics, I am also 6'4" makes the fish look smaller lol. also went to crater lake. I threw in a few other pic's enjoy!

I might camp up at Hyatt for a few days if its nice enough, then drive to Diamond and Howard Prarie during the day.
