Best fishing spots in Multnomah and Clackamas counties?

Have been to Benson Lake a cuple of times recently. There is a lot of algae, so bank fishing is difficult. If you have a float and can get to the middle of the lake, you should do okay

I've fished em all but buoy 10. Benson lake is good for trout. Fish a half hour after sunrise and an hour before sunset. Thos are really the only times the stocked trout bite. The Clackamas river is amazing. All the way up to estacada lake. McIver you mostly catch smolt that look like trout so be careful. Eagle creek is another amazing body of water. Try walking up or down it when the water gets just low enough. Caught a 15" cutthroat.

I wouldn't call the Clack amazing..for trout at least (salmon, steelhead, yes for sure). The Deschutes, Metolius, Owyhee, Crooked and many more all have one thing in common: They have trout over about 2". The Clack, on the other hand... No jk the clack is a decent trout fishery close to home but not many get over 12".
