Went to walter wirth in salem still no luck on bass but my girlfriend got two trout still trying to find em will post when I catch my first one

Any tips or other spots would be much appreciated I know it's getting cold this time of year but I know people still catch them definitely on that work grind to find em

If I am in a pinch I go to Hyak Park between Corvallis and Albany off Hwy 20 and fish along the bank. It is essentially a rock ledge which you can walk down when the river is low enough. With the recent rains, it might be under water now, but I have caught nice size small mouth (14") though they are not large in numbers.
