The West end, especially parallel to Princess shoreline is your ticket. I trolled from the kayak during the calm 630a to 815a until winds picked up. Trout but no koke for me, however it's VERY difficult to properly fish these fish in a tiny boat. Lots of boats were
catching kokanee tho
Hey TC2; I am fishing Odell, West side tomorrow and the next day. Camping at Princess. I am by no means an expert with koke and only have my kayak so won't be straying far from the shore and Shelter cove. If you want to report or to meet up, send me a message.
I enjoyed my Aire Tributary Tomcat Tandem on class II-III streams of Idaho. Boat is well constructed, holds a lot of weight and probably weighs around 40lbs but may be overkill for your application.
Fished it today on the kayak the action was HOT....for tui chub that is haha! Caught atleast twenty. Not a single bass on any rig but that seems to be the consensus. Rainbow fishing slow but the river was awesome. Too cold for snakes, which is ideal
Weather is warming up this week and I would like to target Striped Bass at Ana Reservoir sometime in the near future. According to some old-timers at Summer Lake hotsprings, earlier in the season (March-May) is the ideal time to target these fish. These people are the only ones I personally have...
On a Prince nymph picked up from Fin&Fire in Redmond yesterday. Yeah dog is well...quite the princess until the camera comes out, then its.. Nope! Not interested in your photography! Shes terrible hunting (like owner) but best river dog I've known, which is saying something for a heeler IMO...
Caught a nice Brown hen today..few Whiteys on the fly rod as well. NO RAINBOWS, oh well still figuring out throwing a fly. One other guy fishing but pretty calm day on the river. Thanks for the fishing advice IrishRover!
