Excellent brown trout trip to eastern Oregon with eggs and Bigsteel. All fish were caught on very small midges and dry flies.

Caught a nice Brown hen today..few Whiteys on the fly rod as well. NO RAINBOWS, oh well still figuring out throwing a fly. One other guy fishing but pretty calm day on the river. Thanks for the fishing advice IrishRover!

I went out fishing with spinners at a creek near me after school today (not gonna day it’s name cause I don’t think it can handle much fishing pressure). Caught a couple little trout and a couple more hit but didn’t take the spinner. I also saw a few lampreys swimming around which was pretty cool as I’ve never actually seen them outside of fish ladders. All in all it was a pretty fun day!

My first trout of 2019! Between a 2 month old and a spring bear tag fishing takes a backseat. Was plenty happy to land this guy today

Paulina brown, not huge but great colors and feisty fish. Landed a bunch, majority were bows.
