You guys doing as good as the reports we are getting? Seems like there has been as many fish caught off the bank as in boats this year.

I have heard they have been doing decent down there. Still in the beginning and turning on from what I've talked to the locals. I have talked to a few people on here too that have caught some off the jetty. I went for the first time ever last week amd didn't get anything. Was pretty slow from what I saw. Saw 2 landed in boats out in front of us and that was it. I know they are absolutely slaying the dungies down there too!

I went down to Coos Bay for business yesterday and checked it out around 11:00a. According to the two guys I asked, it was slow that morning. After my meeting, I went back (around 2:30p). Nobody fishing it all all and looked like it was low tide. I took my pole hoping I could cast some spinners but figured if the locals weren't fishing on the low tide (or anybody except for a couple boats), my time might be better spent making the drive back home. Saw some nice fish and crab at the cleaning station. Wish I lived closer but I guess I bettter schedule some more appointments down there.

Just heard of 4 fish caught yesterday off the bank. A 17, 18, 20, 22. and heard of a 45lb in a boat, Looks like the rivers are kicking out plenty of fish if you can find a willing biter on the right day.
