Wildwood park(Brightwood)

We are having our company picnic at wildwood park. Thought i would take the fly rod along. Has any of you all fished this part of the salmon river for trout?? Also if read the regs right no bait allowed, Correct? Any advice on that river would be great. Thanks.

that area should be great.. they have done a ton of restoration work in that area of the river.. closed for bait.

Looks like they they shut it down for steelhead. Troutdude posted an article from odfw. It includes the salmon river. So gotta leave the 8 wt. at home.
