But alas, tragedy struck...came unhooked!

Oh, and I couldn't give up on the spoons and this thing hit one after 5 minutes of fishing

I pulled a 'rippin' fish lips' move and noticed a couple rafters going through the middle of the current probably creating an atmosphere of pressure on the fish. But, there was a nice set of riffles on the far edge, out of the way and offered some peace and quiet. Cast over there a couple times and boom! Fish on...then, after a bit, fish off.

I guess I almost feel better now...kinda, sorta

Ha ha yeah right there with you on that one! I started working 2 jobs this year and j don't get days off unless I pull some tricks so I don't have as much opportunity to get out these days. Funny thing is I'M STILL ALWAYS BROKE! HA HA

I know the feeling, I am working full time, going to school full time and taking care of my 4 kids with another on the way! I made time to go fishing today, but as a result I am sitting at work with 2 far east history reports to do and I only got 2 hours of sleep last night.

At least you to feel the tug chez!
