catch anything? I was at St. Lious ponds earlier today. kinda slow but no rain.

Walter Wirth was stocked w/ big brooders 10 days ago. In the Statesman Journal, 2 days ago, was a dude w/ a 16 pounder (which was also posted on here). If you can get out onto the water somehow, try a bobber and woolly buggers.

Forsure. Thanks Troutdude. I might check it out and catch me a bog one. A little out of the way bt would be worth it to get the kids into some fish.

Absolutely.

And if you happen to bank it--and get there before anyone else--work lures close to the bank on both sides. Most brooders, are used to huggin' the walls in their tanks. So, they'll hug the banks for a few days, before they'll spread out into the lake.

Once the crowds show up, try my "Awesome Reservoir sandwich". Start w/ a size 6 bait hook. Thread on one Lemon/Lime Berkley Magnum "power egg", to the top of the hook. Follow that, with one Orange colored power egg. Then, one more Lemon/Lime egg. And leave the hook tip bare. Add some Garlic scent, and some Berkley trout scent, then float OFF the bottom about 3 feet w/ a sliding sinker.

Enjoy.

Sorry, ya i caught 2 nice size about 16-19 inches and very thick! And missed 2 I showed up at 7am and left at 1:30

Hope this works, only my first trout.
