I fished for over 8 hrs on Saturday and only got into one fish. I only heard of one other being caught so I'm glad that I got one. It's not a monster but it's still a fish.

It's really frustrating when salmon are jumping and rolling most of the day but they refuse to bite. I saw some really nice fish moving around.

Joe,
that part of the Umatilla has never been super productive for me. Glad you got a fish.

Nice vid of the take! At least you found one suicidal fish.

Cool video! Way to go!

Cool video! Makes me want to get a go pro !

Lizard,

I've actually done quite well done there on previous occasions. If you want to use a Yak or boat you can't fish much higher. At lease when the water is so low.

Fish were jumping, just not really biting.

I know about the rolling, jumping, swimming by your feet so close you could just reach out and net them without them biting anything you throw. That area is where a lot of "snaggers" used to hang out as they would be on the south side of the bridge where they could legally use the trebble hooks.

I am glad you got yours, looks like a nice bright fish.
