Anybody fish it? My dad told me about it years ago while we were hunting. Said he caught some monsters just wondering if this holds true today.

Never heard of it.

Looks remote and it probably has some monsters. They'd have to be native.

My buddie and I love to fish the upper Cascade lakes, you may have rainbow as well as Brookies.

Looks like I hike in lake to me.

It is hike in we walked right by it. Just seems like one of those hidden gems.

If I'm not mistaken, this was the lake I backed packed into when my son was in the scouts. There was a scout summer camp near the trailhead as I recall. Anyhoot, the trail was not very well maintained. If it was the same lake, there was a lot of blow down and standing water from late snows. The lake is nearly unfishable unless you can wade out from the brushy shore line or pack in a tube. A topo map is a must because the trail down to the lake is not marked and it veers off the main trail. If you're looking for a good lake to backpack into in that area, I'd hike into Duffy and then do a day hike to Mowich instead.
