look to be good choices for a surf perch attack.
Anyone agree?

Agreed! It's go time. Tony

It is. In fact some people were catching some today!

Going on friday and saturday, if perch bite that would be great if not then some lings and rockfish. Or even stocked trout in some lakes.

Looks to be the only flat day for a week.I am going to go to horsefall beach tomorrow

tried painting some jigs with spray paint, see how it goes. But Mostly going to target perch in newport .

I went yesterday and fished the low tide.
This was my first try on Oregon beaches.
That beach just south of the Siuslaw south jetty is certainly flat.
I waded out as far as I could in my hip boots and still couldn't hit the primary break. Tried fishing a good looking tough and a hole or two.
Never got bit.
Seems to be my lot.
Are there steeper sloped beaches with a closer in break? Or are they all that flat?

Try Glendon beach. Today I fished the fisherman's rock for perch and no bites . Went to depoe bay and caught 4 lingcod and 3 rockfish and a couple green lings. 20160318_133634.jpg

The biggest Ling was 8 pounds. My new personal record .

The holes at horsefall were not really defined.I only got 1,but better than not going!
