Thinking about headin out Friday

Haha. I was thinking about alsea. Anybody have any suggestions of where I should fish.
If any of you are interested in tagging along...(split gas bill?) Let me know.

The water on the alsea will be really low and not many fish move up. (nf alsea)
Your best bet is to fish the lower system twards 5 rivers.
You can catch fish on the nf when its low and clear but man it is hard because you can see the bottom everywhere and if there was a fish you would see it.

Head south from what I am hearing. Personally I would go to the river you have most confident. Water lowering etc. Think smaller presentation and throw everything at em is my tip of the day.

I would take his advice. I always fish the alsea but when it gets low like it will be this week i go to the slaw. I know i can go to the alsea and get one or two but the slaw gives the group you go with the chance to limit. My advice is if your going by yourself pm me and i will tell you where to go on the alsea to get one or two. If you go with someone else or have a party of people hit whitaker creek on the siuslaw.
