Don Hill on the oars with me in the front seat holding on as we shoot the “Horn” on Lake Creek. The boat was the first of several new designs of wooden Grand Canyon Dories; Don built for outfitter and river guide Martin Litton in the late 70’s early 80’s. The dory is self-bailing with one way scupper holes, has several watertight compartments, is 22 foot long and uses 12’ custom made Sawyer ash oars.
