Does anybody believe there have been a couple of summers caught around Eugene yet? I wonder how this guide's forecast gets their info, maybe from internet forums like this one where we were talking about this in the other thread?

Anyway, maybe time to give it a shot again.

Water temperature at Willamette Falls is hovering in the mid-40s with the level on the rise. About 200 summer steelhead have been counted along with more than 4,300 winters. A few summer steelhead have been taken on the Town Run near Eugene.

Rumours of summers caught in Sweet Home also..

OK, maybe the Guide's forecast is just rumors of rumors! I'm just hoping to see some pics of them at some point soon.

I doubt any guides are trying for summers yet, so I just wonder how they are getting the info. for Eugene and if it is accurate.

I know of one for sure caught on the MF Willamette somewhere below Jasper... swear to god, seen it with my own two eyes :D

Cool DYJ and TT!

Sounds like it is legit.

We try our best. Thanks for the positive comments and confirmation. Many TGF reports come from recreational fishers (like us) as well as from guides. And yeah ... I'd like pictures too!
