The water was up a bit and had limited visibility, but this fish found my spinner. It put up one hell of a fight. I wish it had one less fin... Oh well, it was still fun. I hope this is a taste of what's to come.

Was just curious. Sometimes I travel, but not too often.

Danged extra fin! :doh: Since there are about a million miles of water in Oregon, can you give us a few hints about where you were? I, for one, am fairly sure it wasn't at St. Louis Ponds or Detroit Lake. :think: What gear/bait did you use? Did you use a combination of the two? Spinning rod or fly rod? Wooly booger or dry fly? Not that I have a clue what either of those last two are...:wall: :lol:

I was on the nestucca. 8'6" 10-20 casting rod 20lb cxx panther martin (look closely)...go get em!
