Suggestions for steelies

I have Thursday OFF and want to give steelies a try.
Anyone have suggestions where to go - Wilson, Sandy, Clack, etc?

im heading to the slaw in a few hrs report will follow but i hear the coast rivers are doing good from lincoln city to Astoria.

I live in Wilsonville and may go thursday as well. If so, It will be the coast for sure. Id say the Wilson is a great place to start. Its starting to pick up. If you want less crowded waters PM me -TM

well i lost my first hook up of the year on lake creek wached a guy get raped by one on his fly rod took him a ways into his backing and they could not get in under control in time and it took him into some brush and lost it heard of 2 banked on lake creek and 3 steelies and a coho on the slaw so there there but still a bit early.
