Picked up a 21" buck that hit a 1/4oz brass cleo yesterday morning, so i went out today again ready for another intense day of steelhead fishing.

1/4oz Rainbow little cleo did the work today. 8 runs, 6 jumps. Found a hole across from some flossers where i know fish get spooked to, first time fishing it. Fist cast and fish on!

The fiight feels awesome and it feels so good to land 2 more after losing so many. Strong and heavy fish with a nice gash.

had to get a blood shot too...

Looks like it had one heck of a close call will a seal or something....maybe even foul hooked by one of the aforementioned flossers. LOL

<sigh>....I need to get out. It's been a little over a week (or has it been two?) for me since last pounding the water.

Nice work.

Good job. Good to see folks out there having some success as I sit on the sidelines. Touche, flossers!

No way it was foul hooked! A seal for sure! This was one lucky fish until he got into the river where i knew she was. Also got some immature eggs from her... was gunna throw em out but cured them up for the heck of it.

You know what really motivated me to pull one out in front of them? Is i saw 1 dude hook up (flosser) and loose his fish. So i told my self i was gunna hook and land one in front of him just to see the look on his face... it was priceless.
