FYI,

This week's ODFW Rec Report states that...

"A few surplus summer steelhead adults have been released in Cape Meares Lake."

Go get 'em!

Hmm. Any advice on fishing that lake?

just use spoons and spinners noah. pot o gold spoons and little cleo's are a favorite for steelhead stocked in lakes.

Do they school to one end or another?

I wonder if it will be any good when I am down there over new year.....:pray:

X 2...brass colored Little Cleo's.

I'd look for a creek inlet, with a pocket of of water about 6' - 8' deep. Cast in, and use a slow retrieve. Steelies will hold in those pockets, even in lakes with deeper water.
