Are there any other spots you can fish for steelies besides the hatchery just curious.

ABSOLUTELY! There are literally hundreds of spots. Tons of pull offs on the way to the hatchery. Some better than others. But there are hundreds of spots ln the MAC.

Not to mention, just about ever boat ramp has wading spots. don't forget about deerhorn road... tons of pull offs there.

Dang thanks! my dad took off two days from work and we're gonna go up tomorrow, really wanting to make it count as we never get to fish together. Any suggestions?

Deerhorn road by taylors boat landing area (7miles) up from henricks on derhorn road. They just recycled steelhead there today. prolly somewhere around 30-40. there is fish spread out everywhere
Fish may be spooked, start at the ramp, if u get nothing, work our way up or down stream. Recycled steelhead will spook up to 100-300 yards of river.

Thanks! Were going to throw just about everything at them, got some little cleos and blue fox spinners tonight, have bobber and jig set ups and drift setups, hoping to catch my first summer steelhead haha
