LMAO...and I thought I just stumbled on the job of my dreams...fishing and getting paid to do it...Im jobless by the way...
I read this:
"I agree, but BPA sponsors the Columbia Pikeminnow bounty program because that is the river they are directly affecting and they are trying to "pay for their sins." The slower water behind the dams make life easier on the pikeminnows, so this is their way of making up for it.
Interesting thing for those who haven't heard is that BPA is going to cut funding for the Pikeminow Porgram by half next year. Some like the wise director of WDFW were trying to completely eliminate the program and use the money for tooth-tangle research. Another reason I don't like that guy. It's always easy to see who's back-pocket he is in. Anyway no telling what will happen to the program next year because of the reduction. $2/********* instead of $4?"
do you think this is true? To me it seems logical because the willy is connected to the columbia and the tailbone is connected to the small bone so one effects the other....pikeminnow in a neighboring water that connects, should effect the mainwater...same with common carp which is common everywhere....
In conclusion though I had fun catching giant squawfish, and yes I released them...
