ok i threw all those baits and lures just for joke and giggles i hooked 8 landed 2 lost some big chromers:lol: i was targeting springers at cowlitz again they all worked just had to switch up once in a while..me comming from a bassfishin background helped me sucess in salmons. i guess it pays to be persistant and chaingeup your tactics while everyone throws the same thing.presentation was also important..the fish would move one side of river to other. dude next too me thought i was crazy for throwing a bass fishing tubejig hooked one right in da mouth on first cast.i also had technique spacific rods for bait or lure. i used my 10'xmg to throw spoon and tubejig ..and my 15' pin/float rod for casting tuna ball and eggs.. it was a fun sunday morning boy are my arms soar. UU1Ll.jpgGnTwM.jpg

Nice lookin fish! Changcing up tactics and throwing stuff other people aren't using is key. That is why i cannot pull my self away from the spinner and spoon game when everyone is drift fishing, i just find a spot where i think fish get spooked... and i always get a hook up, or land one. Yesterday i got stomped on big time.

What color tube do you use for that?! That is so cool!
