I am wanting to scout out the south umpqua tomorrow and fish at the same time. probably start at the seven feathers casino and fish the morning there. then move down river looking for some spots ive scouted on google maps. But my question is, is the water high enough right now to go and try it out? seems pretty freagin low. maybe i should wait on the rain........any input is nice. i know the fish are there but the water is really low? or is it?

I went last week and was really slow. No bites for me. Talked to multiple boats that had very little luck or none at all. River was higher last week too so. That's all the info I can shed but I havn't fished it much myself either. From what I read and the way this year has been going not sure there is too many fish up there yet.

Wow thanks man that saves me about 30 bucks in gas maybe ill hit up whittaker again.

Hey...

Hey...

Hey bud it's Brandon. Hit me up if you are gonna head back up to Whitaker Creek this weekend I'll split gas w you, or we can take my ride. I've wanted to go float from there to Wildcat or past that to the next boat launch a mile or so down. So let me know and I'll go w ya.

The bottom is definitely dropping out and it's getting pretty low and clear. Last week was awesome while it was on the drop. We still managed to find 3 yesterday.

The Main would fish really good right now....

I know some guys that boated from Stanton to Mrytle creek over the weekend for one fish!
