Scents in the ocean??

Hello all. First let me say thank you for letting me join your forum. Been reading a lot of post and seems to be a bunch of good advice to be had here.
Im wondering if anyone uses scents on artificials when fishing in the ocean? Specifically, I'm thinking soft plastics for black sea bass and other rock fish off the jetties, bluffs, etc. If so, which ones do you use (brand or flavor, etc.)? What about surf fishing for perch? I know the Berkley sand worms are money, so guessing plastics and scent could work as well. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I use several scents when fishing the ocean for lingcod and rockfish- mostly shrimp, craw-anise, and bloody tuna.

Thank you for the suggestions Roger. Just got back from Bi-Mart with a bottle of pro-cure Bloody Tuna super gel and two spools of ultra green leader material. One each of 20lbs and 30lbs.
