SO i had a question about salmon and steelhead eggs. If i catch a hen can I just freeze the eggs till I need them or do they have to be cured? Thanks!

Ditto. Catch fish. Bleed fish. Remove eggs and place in paper towels and in Ziplock back then place on ice until you can get home to cure them. Sooner the better.

Cured and then freezed if you must but in the fridge they will keep for a long time. different cure times will determine the type off eggs you have. sometimes you want a harder slow milker and sometimes some soggy quick milkers are the way to go.

Ditto. We always have cured FIRST, refrigerate second, and freeze third.
