I saw earlier that mosd was looking for a rider to hit the Umpqua with him. I suspect the open seat is filled now...

Good luck down there guys,

I work in Riddle, so I hit the acclimation site behind the casino yesterday, water looked about the perfect level, more green than brown with about 18" of visability. Warm day though, warm 2 days to be specific.....that means snow melt and colder water for the south river. It looked good, felt good, but no bites....fished from 11:30 to 1:15, saw no fish hooked, saw none on the bank, saw no boats hook up while I was there, saw no fish packed out. What does that mean? Nothing....the south river has been good this year! 2 days ago I know of 1 boat that had hooked 4 between Stanton and the bridge by 11:00! I live 4 miles from the forks and the lower south looked good today! It's clearing up fast!
