Nope, never fished with either one. In fact, I didn't fish until I got married and moved to San Luis Obispo, California. I haven't looked back since catching my first trout at Lake Naciamento. :thumb:

Funny, I never fished with my Grandfather or my Father either.. I had my first adventure as an adult, the rest is history.
Must by why I have sonar and GPS in my boat....

My paternal gramps, gave me my first rod 'n reel. It was an Eagle Claw spin rod, with a DAM Quick reel. That outfit, has quietly rested on the bottom of Blue Lake; since circa 1986.
