Molalla River (Clackamas Co.):
1. Upstream to Pine Creek Bridge
• Open for adipose fin-clipped Chinook salmon and adipose fin-clipped steelhead entire
year.
• Open to harvest of non-adipose fin-clipped steelhead July 1-Aug. 31.
• Use of bait allowed May 15-July 15.
• Open for coho salmon entire year.
• Use of single barbless hooks encouraged.

so are there no Regs for above the PCB?

the ODFW map does not show it closed, but the regs only cover up to the PCB?

Any help with this?

Thanks

The deadline is for steelhead and salmon. I fish for trout (until October 31st) above there. If it's not mentioned in the special regulations you go by the statewide regulations.

ok thanks

I thought it might be good to point out (even though most folks know this) that for the Willamette zone Salmon and Steelhead are closed in all waters unless noted by species under special regulations. Thus, no regulations means closed for salmon and steelhead. Trout is open until October 31 in streams in the Willamette zone.
MM, you said statewide regulations apply but to be perfectly clear it is the Willamette zone regulations that matter.
