Proof that there are fish in Green Peter!

My bassin' buddy took his grandson out a couple of days ago. They caught several trout and several smallies. So, yes, there ARE fish to be caught again at GP!

I've been getting smallmouth and a couple crappie in Lookout Point too. I think the warm water fish will be okay despite these drawdowns (if this doesn't continue to happen every year). Kokanee may be another story. I think they are more susceptible to following the flow through the dam which often isn't healthy for fish

Yeah there may not be any Koke's left in GP. Unless some survived the muddiness of the water of the draw down. But if that's the case, it'll take a while for the population to rebound.

They had an article in the Statesman Journal saying the kokanee fishery at GP is gone. They said most of the fish actually survived going through the dam, but just dumped into Foster that isn't as good an environment for them.
