Pond hopping in Eugene 4-6-21

Decided to do a little walking yesterday instead of taking the kayak out.

Delta Ponds and Sorrel way Park, caught 4 fish in about 2 hours, one decent one. Saw some fish cruising the shallows already, definitely prespawn still

As usual a ton of ducks and flies everywhere, got a nice little surprise by an ant pile too.

Lots of healthy grass carp in every lake I walked!

Went back out Wednesday, caught another decent fish

3 smaller ones and one miss

Seems like a pretty wild mix! Every body of water is different

Ford's Is full post spawn, Alton baker had 2 bass in beds yesterday, and the ponds were mixed as well. One of them is linked to the willamette so I would imagine it's somewhat spawning now if it's close to the temp at AB
