I've been gone... From OFF for long enough... Been busy over the last year... Acquired a lady friend and have begun the process of turning her into a Chrome addict... We uave since acquired a horse... And we'll times and budgets are now allowing for more fishing... So I'd like to post some recent pics of Clackamas river and eagle creek fish.... I have been enjoying learning to throw plugs from the bank... It's still a learning process. But I like it.. Anyway. Hope I can figure out how to post from my phone... And I'll be contributing more to these forums again... Thanks off you all are really one of the best group of sports people I've had the pleasure of interacting with

With a lip like that, what kind of a retrieve do you use for those plugs? Here in CO I throw a lot of rapalas in the rivers for trout, and tend to do a quick jerk retrieve with pauses. This is only possible with a small lip when you're in fast water. Are you working pockets of water with a slower retrieve?

I'm guessing that your newly addicted friend, wasn't wading winter water in flip flops. :yikes:

Nice feesh dude!

BTW, is that plug copper in color? One of Field & Streams "50 Best Lures of All Time"; was the original copper-backed Daredevle spoon. That's why I'm asking.

She is a bad ass lol... No this was here second fish and it was during July I think... And yes copper and black plug mag 3.0 and 3.5 have produced now both on steelhead (summers and winter) and coho.. And the purple hooked several Chinook..

I am using them like spinners in slower water
