Hit a river today I had never floated before and found these.Started out at 22 degrees this am and ended up around 37.

Nice Mike. The cold scared me off today but yesterday afternoon was pleasant. I even took a dip up to my neck getting out of the boat at one point. Fortunately, I stayed dry thanks to my waders and coat.

At one point today we took a standing wave over the bow, and if it wasn't for waders and a coat, I'd have been wet from mid chest to feet and it was friggincold....thank god for water resistant/proof gear...

Freaking both of you Mikes! You both make me jealous today! Ha ha. Nice set of cookies though! Now that I've almost got this stupid cold beat, it's time for me to go back out there. 22 degrees though? Probably would have been instantly sick again if I would have gone out today ha ha.

No kidding, heard of some sketch encounters there lately, if it is where you and I think it is. I stay away lol.

we must have fished the wrong section of river, there were 20 boats on this stretch....but unlike our local haunts, there was still plenty of water to fish even being the eighteenth of twenty to launch by 7....I know not of this boulder patch of which you speak....first trip in aboat on this system for me...been doing a lot of that this winter with decent results.

Good job on the fish...We hit it HARD Sunday to be rewarded with only one fish...Canceled out today to wait for warmer ( and higher) water..Wouldn't want to skunk and ruin my record for the year so far...:lol::lol::lol:

Thinking on going farther north than usual Thursday...
